Teachers will be reaching out to you by email, or if you would like to set an appointment to meet with your teacher directly, you may contact them by email to schedule a time to meet.

Happy Halloween:

Celebrate with a dress-up day and pumpkin carving contest.

October 28th - Littleton

October 30th- Conifer

Costumes can not be scary, please no masks, and no weapons as props of any kind. We will have a regular school day with no party and no candy. Dressing up is OPTIONAL.

Family Pumpkin Carving Contest. Bring your carved pumpkins to school on October 28th and 30th. Neutral judges will be judging and awarding family prizes. Please, only one entry per student.

Four Mile Historic Park:

THIS WEEK

Please join us on Oct 1st from 10 am-12 pm at Four Mile History Park for a fun hands-on field trip. We will be participating in 3 activities:

1. Prairie games

2. TiPi exploration

3. Pack the wagon.

All ages and grades are welcome to join us. The price is $5 per person ages 4 and up.

Please fill out the attached sign-up sheet to attend. We need a minimum of 10 students to avoid having to cancel the event.

DENVER ZOO Field Trip:

Please join us this Friday, Sept 19th, for our school field trip at the Denver Zoo. This field trip is free of charge for our group. This will be an on-your-own event. We will be meeting at the Denver Zoo entrance at 10:15am for check-in. We have a timed group entry at 10:30 am. All families must be checked in with a Summit Academy South Staff Member prior to 10:30am. We must all enter together as a group at 10:30am in order to receive our free school pass. Please fill out the attached sign-up sheet.

Update:

Dear Summit Academy South Families,

Due to the tragic events at Evergreen High School, the district has canceled school tomorrow for all of the schools in the Evergreen and Conifer area, which includes Summit Academy South. We apologize for the late email. In incidents such as this, information is constantly evolving. This unfortunate tragedy has touched many in our tight-knit mountain community. With 40 families on our list, including 100 children and 79 adults, we ask for your support to help make this possible. A small contribution can go a long way toward brightening someone’s season.
