Summit South is offering NEW monthly seminars designed to address the questions and challenges we hear most often. Think of this as “professional development” for home educators. Topics will range from planning your week to choosing a math curriculum you love to strategies for common homeschooling frustrations. Our goal is to help and equip you for your educational journey.
Plan to join us!
We will meet on the third Tuesday of each month (except December and May) during the school year at our Littleton Campus.
The same seminar will be offered in both the 1st and 6th periods.
Both Littleton and Conifer's parents are welcome to attend.
These sessions are intended to be community-building, and networking opportunities, so please plan to attend in person, however, recorded sessions and occasional virtual seminars may be available.
Please contact Family Academic Coach, Kiersten Rodriquez (Kiersten.Rodriquez@jeffcoschools.us) with questions or for more information.

I am a 14-year veteran homeschool mom who has taught Pre-K through 12th grade. I currently teach three of my five children at home, while two are beginning their college education. Additionally, I teach high school and middle school literature classes at Summit Academy South.
Over the years I have navigated many different homeschooling challenges, teaching in tiny houses, in the bonus loft of my in-laws' home, on the road, in the midst of moving, through pregnancy, during the baby years, in the midst of chronic health challenges, and while working outside the home.
In 2020 I began trying to help families who had never considered homeschooling but suddenly needed new educational solutions. Finding strategies and choosing curriculum that met their unique needs, parents and students were able to chart a path to success in home education with no prior experience.
Over the years I have developed a broad knowledge of the world of homeschool curriculum, and I am passionate about helping parents discover a realistic direction that leads to educational freedom.
I have experience and perspective that crosses all schooling stages from pre-K to college so that you have guidance for the whole education picture.
I have a highly practical strategy so that you always have a clear understanding of next steps.
I am detail-oriented so that the information you receive is clear and complete.
I am a creative problem solver so that a gratifying homeschooling journey can become a reality within the boundaries of your real life.
I value many educational priorities so that my experience can benefit you, even if your circumstances are different from mine.
